How Can Speech Therapy Help?
Speech Language Therapy focuses on improving a child’s communication skills through targeted intervention in the areas of speaking, language, and oral motor development. Speech disorders involve difficulty with the production of sounds. Language disorders occur when a child has trouble understanding others (receptive language) or sharing thoughts, ideas, and feelings (expressive language). Through our therapists’ extensive training and accreditation, we are able to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in children. If you have concerns regarding your child’s communication, we can provide a free screening and consultation to assist you and your child’s needs.

Meet Kristine Tavrisov
Kristine Tavrisov, M.S. CCC-SLP
Owner, Speech Language Pathologist
Kristine was born and raised in Florida. She received her M.S. in Communication Science and Disorders from Florida State University and is an ASHA certified Speech Language Pathologist. She has over 5 years of experience working in pediatric clinics and schools in the Jacksonville area. She specializes in speech sound disorders and early language development. Kristine has a passion for helping children communicate confidently. Outside of the office, Kristine enjoys spending time with family including her husband, daughter, and corgi.

Individualized speech or language therapy is tailored to address your child’s needs and is conducted within the home, community and/or Telehealth.
Insurance & Billing
Tavvy Speech Therapy Services LLC does not currently participate in or submit directly to insurance plans. This allows us to provide individualized treatment plans with better and faster progress with the added benefits of greater family involvement, increased privacy, and longer individual sessions. Interventions are tailored to meet the needs of the child without third party involvement. Additionally, we are able to provide transparent pricing and no physician referral is required.
Payment is requested at the time of service and may be made via cash, personal check, or credit card.
For families that have out-of-network benefits with their insurance, we are able to provide a Superbill, which is a receipt of service inclusive of all necessary codes/information should you wish to submit with your insurance provider for reimbursement. We cannot guarantee reimbursement and recommend reaching out to your provider for information regarding out-of-network benefits.
